The New Yorker Online May 13, 2007

Posted by Joanne KY Teoh in Journalism, News, Trends.

Is this another sign of the times? The New Yorker has put its entire contents on the Web without charge. To be sure, at US$4.99 it’s a bargain.

The weekly publishes reportage, criticism, essays, cartoons, poetry and fiction and is well known for its commentaries on popular culture and eccentric Americana.

It’s known too for narrative journalism; rigorous fact checking and copyediting and of course, its famous single-panel cartoons sprinkled throughout each issue. Smile and enjoy!
