CNNMoney eyes affluent April 5, 2007

CNNMoney.com is embracing luxury with a new channel targetting the Web site’s affluent users.

Launched April 4, the channel features lifestyle content that speaks to the well heeled, with articles on high-end autos, real estate, personal finance and technology.

Debut stories include “Your $5 Billion Home” and “Pimp My Jet.” CNNMoney plans to add photo galleries and video clips on luxury honeymoon options and homes from the America’s wealthiest zip codes.

The aim is to attract advertisers on the hunt for affluent consumers. Infiniti is among several brands spotted running display ads on the new section at launch.
